## The story

Kyle Juszczyk, the San Francisco 49ers fullback, was fined $14,926 by the NFL for an offensive demonstration after scoring a touchdown in a 35‑13 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The fine followed the league’s decision that his imitation of chugging a beer was in poor taste and constituted an offensive demonstration. Juszczyk, who has long celebrated touchdowns by pretending to chug in tribute to his nickname “Juice,” said in a text that he does not drink beer. He plans to appeal the fine, according to Adam Schefter. This is the first time Juszczyk has been fined for a celebration, but it is his second penalty of the season; he was previously fined $20,033 for unnecessary roughness and helmet use in a Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
