## The story

Adobe has rearchitected several of its flagship creative applications to integrate with NVIDIA's new RTX Spark system-on-chip platform. According to Adobe VP Deepa Subramaniam, the updates specifically target Photoshop, Premiere, and Substance 3D to enhance performance for creative professionals.

The RTX Spark hardware is designed to allow Windows laptops and small desktops to process AI tasks locally on the device. This differs from the enterprise-focused DGX Spark, as it aims to provide accessible AI capabilities for designers, filmmakers, and novice developers.

Subramaniam stated that these optimized applications can perform AI tasks and editing workflows up to twice as fast. Photoshop users will experience improved responsiveness and real-time rendering, while Premiere users should see speed gains in color grading and AI-powered editing. Substance 3D Painter will also benefit from faster texturing and project management capabilities.
