## The story

Bose president Raza Haider revealed that the company is exploring a new gaming headset that would better meet gamers' expectations. He said the current QC35 II, released in 2021, did not fully resonate with the gaming community because it lacked authentic features. Haider emphasized that any future model must deliver a higher performance bar and truly reflect gamers' needs. While no launch date was announced, he urged fans to stay tuned for potential hardware aimed at the gaming market. Bose has historically focused on consumer audio, but the president noted the brand’s awareness of the passionate gaming audience. TechRadar’s review praised the QC35 II’s noise cancellation and comfort, but highlighted missing gaming‑specific functions such as instant mute. The company’s interest in expanding into gaming audio signals a shift toward a niche that has been underserved by Bose so far.
