## The story

Australia head coach Les Kiss has pledged that the Wallabies will "return fire" in the Sydney return Test against the New Zealand All Blacks. The promise comes after a 50‑19 defeat at Eden Park last week, which saw the All Blacks secure a 24th consecutive Bledisloe Cup. In that match, the All Blacks led 23‑18 at half‑time but added five more tries in the second half to dominate the contest. Kiss said the loss was a learning experience and that the Wallabies would analyse the game to improve their strengths and counter the All Blacks' power. Australia will be without centre Len Ikitau, who suffered a head knock in the first half, and Hunter Paisami, who is suspended, while Jordan Petaia is out with an ankle injury. New Zealand will miss hooker Asafo Aumua and back‑rower Anton Segner after failed head‑injury assessments, with flanker Ethan Blackadder and winger Leroy Carter also ruled out. All Blacks coach Dave Rennie highlighted that the 31‑point defeat will not define the team and that they remain confident after a quality performance last week. The Sydney Test will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event at 6 am on Saturday, 17 October, as both sides look to settle the rivalry.
