Arsenal Eye Como Star Nico Paz, Deal Stalls

Arsenal have reportedly turned their attention to Como midfielder Nico Paz, according to the Daily Star. The English club’s interest in the 23‑year‑old creative midfielder is still in the very early stages, with no formal offer on the table. Mikel Arteta’s hopes of bringing Paz into the squad have been dampened before negotiations even began, as the club’s transfer window has become increasingly crowded. Paz, who has impressed in Serie A with his vision and passing, would add depth to Arsenal’s midfield options. The transfer speculation comes at a time when Arsenal have shelved plans to expand the Emirates Stadium, following a review of the club’s financial and infrastructure priorities. While the Daily Star has not confirmed any official statements from the club or the player’s representatives, the rumor has sparked interest among fans and analysts alike. If the deal materialises, it would represent a significant addition to Arsenal’s midfield arsenal ahead of the upcoming season. For now, the transfer remains unconfirmed and the Gunners’ front‑office have yet to respond to the speculation.
