Prime Video Secures UK Rights to Diana Audio Series
Prime Video has won the UK and Ireland distribution rights to a new three‑part documentary series that will debut as "Diana: Her Secret Confessions". The series, originally titled "Diana Unheard", is built around five hours of audio tapes recorded in 1991 by Princess Diana with her friend James Colthurst. The tapes were first used in Andrew Morton’s 1992 book "Diana: Her True Story" and were later featured in a 2017 National Geographic documentary. Love Monday TV, the producer, worked closely with Colthurst, Morton and publisher Michael O’Mara to secure the complete recordings. Viewers will hear Diana discuss her marriage to then‑Prince Charles, his wife Queen Camilla, Prince Andrew and her own children. Kerene Barefield of Love Monday TV said the series aims to shift the narrative from a victim story to one that showcases Diana’s agency and determination. The series will launch on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland, while Cineflix Rights will handle international distribution under the original title.
