Coral Reefs Found to be Resilient to Climate Change

Scientists found 166,000 square kilometers of coral reef that could survive our warming oceans, three times more than expected. The resilient reefs are in 71 countries and many were not previously recognized as climate refuges. Coral reefs support around a quarter of all marine life and have been hit hard by rising ocean temperatures and mass bleaching events.
