New Treatment Gives Hope to Cancer Patients
A new treatment called amivantamab gave new hope to cancer patients who had run out of options. The treatment, a simple jab, made tumours vanish completely in 15 patients with advanced head and neck cancer. Tumours shrank or disappeared in 43 people, often within weeks. The results were led by researchers at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
