What this is

Daily Read Bytes is opening up a small space on the site for long-form writing outside our automated news digests, the same "Long Bytes" section readers already see on the homepage. If you have something to say and want a place to publish it, we would like to hear from you.

Who this is for

This is mainly meant for independent writers, hobbyists, students, and interns who want a public space for their articles, not a professional freelance market. If that description fits you, you are welcome to reach out.

Compensation

We do not pay for contributions. This is a volunteer arrangement: we offer the space and the audience, you bring the writing.

What you get

Every piece is published under your name with a short author bio and its own author page listing everything you have written for us. If you have social profiles or a way readers can support your work directly (a Patreon, Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, or similar), we will link them from your byline. We are glad to help send readers your way.

Rights and removal

Publishing with us means we hold the right to host and display your piece on the site. You keep authorship and credit for your own work. If you would like a piece taken down later, for a valid reason, contact us and we will remove it, aiming to do so within 48 hours, the same commitment we make for takedown requests elsewhere on the site.
